Taipei Fubon Braves’ World Import, O.J. Mayo, is hailed as Player of the Week after his impressive Week 3 outings.
In his last two games for the Braves, the former NBA veteran averaged 26.5 points and 3.0 assists. He also capped off his two-game stint by drilling 13 of 20 three-pointers, shooting at a respectable 65% from beyond the arc.
These performances from Mayo helped boost the Braves in the season standings with a 3-1 record after defeating both the Macau Black Bears (106-93) and Hong Kong Eastern (102-89) at home. Their next game is on December 7 as they hit the road for the first time against region rivals, the Formosa Dreamers.
Mayo is the third player to take the weekly distinction, alongside Dragons’ Will Artino and Black Bears’ Kenny Manigault.
