The Macau Black Bears have officially announced the re-signing of 6-foot guard Mikh McKinney for the upcoming 2019-2020 ABL season.
McKinney will serve as the team’s third and final import after the signings of Kenny Manigault and Brandon Edwards.
The Filipino-American has played for the Macau Black Bears franchise, originally Chong Son Kung Fu, for the past 2 seasons.
Mikh McKinney led the league in scoring last season as he averaged 26.7 PPG while recording 5.7 RPG and 6.8 APG.
McKinney averaged 33 points in the last 6 games of the regular season after his backcourt partner, Anthony Tucker, went down with an injury. His most memorable performances were at the expense of San Miguel Alab Pilipinas as he averaged 44.3 points in their last three meetings, including a 50-points performance on March 8, 2019.
The Black Bears now have an interesting mix of Imports as all three are listed below 6’7”. It is yet to be seen how the team would fill out their roster, especially at the center position.
