The Nanhai Kung Fu Basketball Club has changed their name to Chong Son Kung Fu Basketball Club after signing a partnership with Macau’s Grupo Desportivo Chong Son. Prior to the start of the season, they changed their team name from Nanhai Long Lions to Nanhai Kung Fu Basketball Club to ensure that there is no naming conflict with the Guangzhou Long Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association.
