The Singapore Slingers and CLS Knights Indonesia collide for the second time this season at the GOR CLS Kertajaya in Surabaya, Indonesia.

The Knights have struggled all season long since winning their first game of the season, as they are are on the longest losing streak of the season at five straight losses. Their latest loss was a heartbreaker, as they pushed the league-leading Chong Son Kung Fu before running out of steam and losing, 86-83.
The Knights led by as many as nine points in the fourth period, but they were unable to defend down the stretch when they absolutely needed to. They’ll need a better effort, as that has been a problem for the Knights all season long.
Mario Wuysang is coming off of his best game this season, as he exploded for 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the near upset of Chong Son Kung-Fu. The veteran showcased the do-it-all game that has made him a legend, however it fell short in the end as Kung-Fu made their comeback.
Singapore was in a tight match against Tanduay Alab Pilipinas for four quarters before AJ Mandani exploded to help the Slingers edge Alab 90-80.
AJ Mandani delivered the knockout blow in the Philippines in front of friends and family, as he scored in the clutch against Tanduay Alab Pilipinas to snap Singapore’s two game losing streak.
Mandani confessed that playing at home in the Philippines was a motivating factor for his outstanding play, and he’ll look to replicate that versus the Knights in Surabaya.
In their first matchup of the season, the Slingers were able to pull off a come from behind win in a tight-fought game against the Knights, winning 79-71. Xavier Alexander exploded for a career high 39 points en route to the win, as he waxed hot in the final period despite falling by double digits to the Knights in the first half.
The Knights are desperate to break their losing skid, while the Slingers are raring to return to the playoff picture. Which team will breakthrough in Sunday ABL action?
