Chong Son Kung is on the hunt for revenge against the defending champions, as they take on Hong Kong Eastern Basketball Team in the second match of their four game home stand.

Tipoff is 7:30PM local time at Nanhai Gym, China.

After a tough losing streak that sent Chong Son to fourth place, the China-based squad was able to bounce back, picking up an impressive 113-95 win against Mono Vampire Basketeball Club.

Chong Son’s three game losing streak was snapped, as they broke through with a much needed win against Mono Vampire Basketball Club. Key to their win was their offense, as they shot a scintillating 54% from the field, and 12 triples on 44% shooting. They also took better care of the ball, with only 10 turnovers to their name.

Anthony Tucker rebounded from a small slump, as he fired a season-high 35 points in the win against Mono Vampire. He also filled up the statsheet in the impressive victory, as he took advantage of his size against the smaller Jason Brickman and Mono Vampire backcourt.

Hong Kong Eastern on the other hand continues to stay on top, and are well-rested after a long two-week break. Their last win was against the Formosa Dreamers, as they look to strengthen their hold on the number one seed.

In a game many expected Hong Kong Eastern to dominate, the Dreamers came so close to shocking the defending champions. They had to survive a furious last ditch effort by the Dreamers before eventually winning, 93-91. Hong Kong Eastern’s three points shooting and free throws were what kept them ahead of the Dreamers. To beat a tough squad like Chong Son, they’ll need to come out with a much better performance.

The reigning world MVP Marcus Elliott was big time for the defending champions, as he carried Hong Kong in a tough battle against the bottom dwelling Formosa Dreamers. Elliott delivered in the clutch with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to make sure that Formosa wouldn’t be able to score an upset against his squad.

Hong Kong will look to repeat against Chong Son, as they got the better of their opponents in the 88-76 win at the Southorn Stadiun.  World Import Ryan Moss delivered with a stellar 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks performance. The highly awaited matchup went to Hong Kong Eastern, as their defense slowed down the hot shooting Chong Son Kung Fu in the clutch. Will the rematch go the same way?
