Evan Brock entered the ABL as an Import for the Indonesia Warriors in 2012. Along with other talented players such as Mario Wuysang and Stanley Pringle, Evan Brock and the Warriors formed a powerhouse squad that would go all the way to the ABL Finals.
With the help of Brock’s strong play, the Warriors finished the season with a 12-9 record and the #3 seed heading to the Playoffs. Brock and the Warriors only needed 2 games to upset the higher-seed Philippine Patriots to move on to the 2012 Finals.
It was in the ABL’s biggest stage where Brock performed at his best. The 6’9″ forward averaged a double-double for the Indonesian side and was a stable force for the Warriors.
The Warriors would eventually topple the San Miguel Beermen in 3 games to claim the ABL crown. Evan Brock was declared Finals MVP.
After a 5-year absence from the ABL, Brock returned to the league as he signed with the CLS Knights. He immediately reminded the fans of his talents — tallying 20 points and 12 rebounds in his season debut.
Evan Brock would always be remembered as one of the ABL’s top players and more importantly, as one of its champions.
