The first nine weeks of competition in the ABL season featured a lot of outstanding individual performances.
Week 10 was filled to the brim with efforts worthy of being included in our list for Players of the Week.
However, only three could be included and these are our picks.
World Import Player of the Week
Marcus Elliott, Hong Kong Eastern Basketball Team
The Hong Kong Eastern Basketball Team scored a win in their only game this week as they defeated the CLS Knights Indonesia.
In that game, Marcus Elliott made history.
He scattered 23 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and shot an efficient 9 of 11 from the field. What made this performance extra special was that he made history by being the only player in the ABL’s existence who has notched three straight triple-doubles. He also made history his teammates Tyler Lamb by being the first teammates to get triple-doubles in the same game.
The win also allowed the defending champions to keep their spot on top of the team standings.

Heritage Import Player of the Week
Mikh McKinney, Chong Son Kung Fu Basketball Club
Chong Son Kung Fu Basketball Club came out unscathed in their two games in Week 10 by defeating the Westports Malaysia Dragons at home and the Formosa Dreamers on the road. Mikh McKinney won the honors via a slight margin against his fellow Heritage Import Caelan Tiongson because of his explosive performance against the Dragons. The late addition to the squad had 32 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. He followed this up with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists against the Dreamers.

Local Player of the Week
Ebrahim “Biboy” Enguio, CLS Knights Indonesia
The CLS Knights Indonesia won their first game and then suffered a prolonged losing slide. They finally broke it against the Dreamers and the hot shooting of Biboy Enguio definitely helped. Enguio notched a career high in points with 16 as he shot a perfect 4 of 4 from the three-point range. He also added 3 rebounds and 2 steals as the Knights blew out the Dreamers in Taiwan.
