For the penultimate week of competitions in the ABL elimination round, teams jockeyed for positioning as four targeted to get one of the top two spots along with the straight-to-the-semis ticket that goes along with it.
With the results of the games bearing more weight, the league saw more than a handful of spectacular performances from some of its talented players.

Samuel Deguara, Mono Vampire Basketball Club
With Mono Vampire needing a win over the Hong Kong Eastern to keep their hopes of making it to the top two alive, the Thailand-based team banked on the size of Sam Deguara to bully their way to a crucial road win.
Deguara severely outmatched his World Import counterpart Ryan Moss who could not do anything to stop Mono Vampire’s monolith. He finished with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 blocks, shooting 12 of 14 from the field to lead Mono Vampire to a 119-111 victory.

Freddie Lish, CLS Knights Indonesia
The winning streak of the CLS Knights Indonesia may have come too late but their loyal fans are still appreciative of the team’s effort even if they bowed out from playoff contention early.
Freddie Lish made sure that they’d have something to celebrate in their final game at home as he picked up 28 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals in their 87-68 win over the Westports Malaysia Dragons.
His 9 assists were a career-high and more impressively came with only 1 turnover committed late in the game.

Song Shuai, Chong Son Kung Fu
Chong Son Kung Fu continued their hot streak as they inch closer to getting a semis spot as they took care of business against the Formosa Dreamers, 105-83.
Their usual suspects still did a lot of damage but they found a new weapon in Song Shuai who had 17 points and 4 rebounds. The sweet-shooting local was 5 of 8 from the three-point range.
