Further increasing the atmosphere at the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League’s explosive Finals series this year, the league’s title sponsor AirAsia contributed free flights at the first two Final venues.

On the 16th of June 2012 at Ynares Sports Arena in the Philippines, where San Miguel Beermen defended their home court to secure the first game in the series, AirAsia organized a shoot-out at halftime, the winner of which walked off the court with free flights.

The lucky winner from the Philippines was Gaerzon Aaron Labao who walked away with two tickets to the beautiful Puerto Princesa, a beautiful island resort on the western provincial island of Palawan.

“AirAsia has always been a big supporter of sports. We are happy that through our fun and exciting three point challenge during the half time break, one avid fan of AirAsia Asean Basketball League will be flying to the Awesome place of Puerto Princesa, Palawan” said Karlo Sanchez from AirAsia Philippines.

Mr. Suryawan Sutjitro, Head of Financial Loyalty Services from AirAsia Indonesia presents the tickets to the lucky winner at Mahaka Square, Indonesia during Game 2.

A week later at the Mahaka Square in Indonesia, during an intense do or die game which the Indonesia Warriors took to push the Finals series into a decisive Game 3, two more lucky winners were given flight tickets to popular holiday destinations in Indonesia.
